VEHICLE LOGISTICS PLANNER
Qualified applicants should have:
- Previous dispatching/load planning experience (preference given to background in vehicle transport)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of MS Office, routing software
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong follow-up skills
- Familiarity with DOT HOS regulations

Essential Duties:
- Answers incoming calls to Transport Dept
- Input new transport bookings
- Follows-up with customers on schedules
- Monitors voicemails for scheduling inquiries
- Transport Quotes
- Phone quotes – monitors voicemails and responds in timely manner
- Monitors website for transport quotes and responds in a timely manner
- Logs all quotes
- Updates dispatch assignments in system
- Assists the Logistics Manager with vehicle counts, load planning, scheduling
- Gathers information on damage claims
- Assists drivers with route planning and guidance
- Alternating Saturdays required
